This is the top of the Hoover Dam. There is a tour of the place and you get to see how
a dam operates. We drove there , takes 2 hours or so, we saw what the area looks like. along the way.

Deep down in the bowels of the dam are located the Generators. Awesome to see the size of
these suckers!!! The place was a show room. Absolutly spotless.

Here is Red Rock Canyon, located right out side of the city. Very easy to drive to. You
take your car tour, lasts about an hour or so. Depends on how long you want to park and look out. Really nice , if you live
in areas where you don't have deserts. But after a few days, I found it all started to look like more a waste land
then beautiful. But then again, deserts are not very colorful to begin with. I'd perfer more the Oceans or Woodlands for color.
But everyone to their own I say.

This is one of the floats , suspended from rails on the ceiling of the RIO Hotel. Really
a great show for free. It's theme is Mardi Gras in Rio. Make a point of catching the show, towards afternoon.
Then after that ,head for your rooms, freshen up from the day of touring and then out head for dinner & a show.
